The holidays kicked up a little emotional 'dust storm' around here last weekend. Not a tornado, but enough to limit visibility and increase anxiety for a couple of days.

As we enter this season of Thanksgiving - and potential feeding frenzy - remember to be gentle with yourself. Choose consciously to surround yourself with the people, places and things that bring you joy.
Consider your food choices the same way. In all things, give thanks and check in here as often as you need to.
I hate waiting rooms. Those places where the future is uncertain but you know there's no going back to the way things were before some particular event brought you here.
I want to know what's happening behind those closed doors. What's taking so long - and why? I don't wait well. I want to take control, kick ass and take names.
That is how this Intuitive Eating journey is. At times it has been frightening, uncertain, uncomfortable but I have persisted in hope and faith that something new and better would emerge.
