When I was first introduced to the idea of intuitive eating it frightened me. I have been a carb/calorie/snack counter most of my life and I was afraid that if I allowed myself to eat what I really wanted instead of what I was "allowed," I would never stop eating and would gain 100 pounds.
A lifetime of diet failures persuaded me to give it a try.
Practicing patience to change my mind and listen to my body has been difficult but not impossible. That's why I started this blog and the Facebook support page.
I'm only half way through the process but it has been transformational already!
