I can live the rest of my life without ever reading another diet article or book.
Why? Because I have a resident database of calories, carbs and fat grams running in my head.
It is what happens when you begin your dieting career in 4th grade. And you retain what you read.
Calories in, calories out. Garbage in, garbage out. The challenge now is to shut it down.
Today I exercised restraint two ways:
1. Didn't weigh my body (even though it was the 1st of the month.)
2. Didn't calculate numbers in my head at the restaurant as I ordered dinner.
The strength of my diet addiction will be revealed in the level of withdrawal I experience.
Would you be afraid to stop counting?
