People are Talking
I have known Kim Halsey for about 7 years now and know her to care about others with honesty and truth. I have hopped on board so many diets and "Next big things" in my 40+ years of life...too many to count. What I do know is that NONE of them worked. I would not lose fast enough on one program, didn't like the food on another program, didn't know how to continue after the program ended AND gained all my weight back (and I'm talking large amounts of weight at a time. Sometimes 10-15 lbs and a few times close to and in excess of 100lbs) on other programs. I was and am sick of dieting. Kim has shown me a program that has NO RULES! Wait ~ yes there are rules. The rules are to LOVE YOURSELF, show compassion to yourself, positive self-talk, SAFE talk with other like-minded people and to quit letting the voices in your head dictate WHO you are or more importantly ~ WHO you THINK you are! I have been and will continue to recommend this life-style and mind change to anyone who will isten. **Disclaimer ~ The voices in my head still win sometimes. The pan of brownies still wins sometimes. But with each new day and each distraction - my mind set is becoming clearer and the grace I grant others is becoming the grace I grant myself!
"Goodbye diets and hello to a new healthier me. Kim's coaching has been invaluable to me in looking at my relationship with food in a very different way. It has improved my self esteem and I feel so much better about myself. She asks thought provoking questions and gives coping strategies that have really helped me cope with an emotional eating problem. She's a great coach who really cares and I highly recommend her."
"I have found immense value working with Kim Halsey on her closed FB page. She is insightful and asks great questions about my feelings. She does not shame, ever. She digs so I can find the reason behind my overeating. This has helped me over time to be less judgmental of myself and others, and to be willing to be happy and present in the moment rather than self-hating. I am less likely to binge eat, and more likely to have something that pleases me, but to analyze why I want it and how much I want." VB
"When I met Kim back in the '90's, I was a very closed person. An introvert tired of being hurt by others. Oddly enough I make my living by helping others during the most critical times of their lives. My motto, "Your worst day is my everyday." Off duty I just wanted to be left alone. Kim was a coworker and close friend of my friend. After I was coaxed into a Codependent No More group, I discovered Kim was my worst nightmare. She is a no-nonsense, dig deeper, you can't fool me facilitator. She is still all that and more. She can be tough but she will cry with you. She may have words you are not ready to hear, but find yourself pondering them when you are alone. If you have an issue you want to meet head on, whether it is an eating, addiction or unable to rediscover joy in your life, Kim is the Go To Person. After all these years, I continue to trust her with my "stuff".

The dieting lifestyle is a cycle of restriction, fear, relapse and shame. It distracts us from our purpose on this planet, and drains our energy until there is nothing left to give. Intuitive eating is the antidote that will take us back to our bodies’ natural wisdom and rhythm.
Kim Halsey is an addiction recovery specialist and Intuitive Eating Counselor who is committed to exposing our cultural obsession with limiting beliefs about what makes a body good.
With intervention, we can recover from the lies we have been brainwashed to believe about ourselves, our choices and our bodies (too big, too small, too saggy, too pale, too dark, too much, not enough.)
No matter how many diets you’ve tried, how many books you’ve read, or how many pounds you weigh, it is never too late to stop the cycle and live your dreams without drama.
